Plank Grabber™ by Floor-Fix Pro is a floor gap fixer and positioning tool for closing gaps between movable planks and helping position boards during installation. Its Magic Grip Strip grips suitable sealed surfaces, including textured laminate and LVT, where ordinary suction cups can struggle.

Two jobs, one tool

• Repair an existing floor: grip a movable plank and bring it back into position to close a gap.
• Install a new floor: grip and position planks, using the tool’s strike points and pull-bar hooks as directed in the included instructions.

Will Plank Grabber work on my floor?

The pad needs a clean, sealed surface, and a plank must be able to move for a gap to close. Check the floor construction as well as the surface finish.

How can I help stop a gap reopening?

Closing a gap moves the plank back into place; whether it stays closed depends on the cause of movement. Where the flooring manufacturer permits joint bonding, Injectafix adhesive can be applied to the plank joint before closing it. Keep perimeter expansion gaps open and do not bond a floating floor to its subfloor.

What if the planks are tight?

Click Lube can help suitable tight grooved joints move. Follow the flooring and product instructions, and do not force damaged locking edges or boards that cannot move.

Protect your floor and care for the tool

Read the included instructions before use. Clean the floor and pad, test the grip on a discreet area, and use a rubber mallet on the intended strike points. The anodised aluminium body has serviceable suction pads and end caps; check our replacement-parts listings for current availability.
