Fix a creaky click floor without grooves on a timber subfloor
If your click floor has square edges with no V-groove, Click Lube and Groove Gasket can't get into the joints. Creaks usually come from vertical movement in the floor or from the subfloor on the joists.

How to fix it, step by step
- Start with Injectafix Pro. Inject it through a 2mm hole to reduce vertical movement. It stays flexible, so it moves with a floating floor.
- If it still creaks, fix the subfloor with the Stop Squeak Repair Kit. Its scored screws pull plywood or chipboard down onto the joists without fixing the floating floor itself. Fill the small holes afterwards.

How do I know if my click floor has a V-groove?
Look at the joints between the boards. If the edges are bevelled so there is a small V-shaped channel along each joint, your floor is grooved. If the boards meet flush with a square edge, it has no groove and Click Lube and Groove Gasket can't get into the joint.
Do I need to lift the floor?
No. Both fixes are done from the top of the floor without lifting any boards.
